Mixed freight southbound at Highbridge today at 12:45. Lots of green trash cars,also some black ones. Rest of consist white reefers and box cars. Could not get engine #"s they were behind car wash building, was on Deegan.

Spotted transfer to Oak Point on Hell Gate around 9:45am. Seen from Willis Av Bridge, it had empty welded rail cars on rear.

Saw 402 at BN around 9:00 am yesterday.

This morning 401 at Highbridge with 4 M-7's, could they be returned sets from Arch Street Yard for PTC installation ?

12:45pm today southbound freight mostly trash cars getting on link at Highbridge. Saw engines further down near 149th looked like two GP 38's not sure couldn't see numbers.

Question regarding picture of box cars from derailment, to get them out of there do they bring in a crane to re-truck them, if they are not too badly damaged? If they are pretty bad do they cut them up on site? It does not look like the NS cars in the picture are too badly damaged.

Also a lot of folks seem to throw out ideas about what can be done with this traffic but seem to not realize cost factors, lack of industry and freight using customers. 8762 and8842 leading Q431 5:55am yesterday entering OP link at Highbridge, empty trash C&D cars and general freight. Came back uptown it was stretched out back to 161 St stopped on link 6:50am. Were they waiting for clearance to the yard or setting out green trash cars?
