Sorry it's taken so long to get back to you. Mine are in the same assembly phase as yours, so I haven't gotten to the floor part either. I bought 6 p72s and 6 pings which are also at the same assembly stage. I checked walthers and it seems that any passenger trucks that would look right on the p72s ...

I have a bunch of these kits that I bought years ago fro Willis hobby. They are about 85% done, and I bought them with the IHC trucks. Searching around, the walthers trucks are out of stock everywhere. Rapido and Bethlehem car works do have trucks that would look pretty good on these models. Good lu...

Caught this at Duke on Wednesday, a quick grab shot from my phone. I believe it was RS31, because after it coupled with the rest of the train it headed west. Please correct me if i'm wrong. I would have liked to grab more shots, but i had 2 of my kids with me. http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff99...

I bought the DVD last year, and it is a nice look at the LIRR of the past. It does have some footage of the F/M locomotives out in Port Jefferson. There is also some nice RDC fan trip footage also. Definitely worth the $29.95 price.

Say what you like about them, i loved em! I guess it's a sentimental thing because when i was little this was the equipment that my mom and i rode on to visit family on the island. I'll always remember taking the train from FBA, and the best part was changing at Jamaica or Huntington to board the di...

Can anyone point me in the right direction for some HO scale LIRR decals? I am going to buy some from Island modelworks, and i have a couple of the microscale sheets. In looking through my bin i have some leftover Champ, Wagon, and JJB sets, bought these from Willis hobby years ago. Seems like the l...
