Re-opening the Central Branch: What would be involved?

While it's a serious longshot, I wouldn't give up on the Central branch yet. Besides, Gov. George has recently stated that he does not intend to run again for Govenator of NY. That in itself might be a breath of fresh air to the subject of restoring abandoned lines on Long Island. The future power of the Garden City NIMBYs will be greatly diminished when Georgey Boy leaves office (we hope).

I heard about that and started hoping the same thing as far as the secondary goes.
