Ah. Thanks for the clarification, Bones. The specifics of the crash never really came into view (or at least, I never noticed them) around when it happened.

The cab signals don't cut in/out until Blue Island.

411 just went through Wheaton on a Union Pacific freight train heading east.

411 is at Shop Proviso as of 15:00.

So there we have it folks...All 27 MP36's at Metra, 26 of which are active (416 blown turbo).

METX411 will possibly run tomorrows train 2231, according to a contact at the diesel shop. When METX411 moves to RI, METX412 will move to MILW.

Dang! I was hoping an F40 would leave. It's still good to have 411 returning here to RI. :-D Nick

The idea of an F40PHM-2 going to MILW is very intreaguing,, but in reallity I don't think it'll ever happen. I wouldn't mind 205, though.

There is also a possibility 412 will stay on RI even with 411. I assumed 412 would go back to MILW when 401 came to RI...but only 413 did. 412 has had more than enough chances to go back to MILW since 409 and now 407 have been on RI.

To quote bones from November 13th:
bones wrote:Everybody keeps saying that 412 is supposed to go back to the MILW. My question is who started that rumor. As far as I know 412 belongs to the ROCK. The only unit in question so far is 401.
Since then...the question about 401 has been answered...There was no sign of 411 when I rode the Empire Builder back from Minneapolis this evening.

Keep all the MP36's and send away an M. :-) I'd like to keep the PH's and PH-2's, since you don't see those as often as M's.

Why do you guys doubt the information that 412 will be replacing 411 on MILW when 411 goes to RI? I think the diesel house folks know what they're doing. After all, orriginal assignments were:

401-406 BNSF
407-411 RI
***412-427 MILW
