New class begins 4-20-09, 12 students.

How often are trains late in MBS territory? I doubt any Crew would report they arrived 6 minutes late. :-D

Casinos operate 24/7, and neither Amtrak or MNRR would be able to provide adequate service. I was just rebuffing a fact that NLC is the biggest tourist attraction in the state. PERIOD

The states 2 biggest tourist attractions are the 2 Casinos. They are @ 10 & 15 miles away from NL. So tourism is a big part of the area. The problem is you would have to run trains at 3 or 4 in the morning and thats not going to happen.

Same train. Returning from NOLA, FEMA duty.

The on board credit card sales was supposed to increase revenues. This was an odd comment of services that were hyped for months. How would someone go about finding information of on board sales before and after the electronic ticket machines? Sorry about hijacking thread.

Do they have lifts at all or most stations? I assume they must to comply with the ADA.

I was being ironical. I would love to see the Federal government takeover CDOT. There would be tolls every other exit. CT currently have no Toll Roads. I am all for more big Govt. affecting my commute.

CP 216 or the curve west of the station? It used to be 60 mph through CP 216 & 30 mph through the curve. I believe tks. 1 & 3 are now 50 mph through the curve. Dutch will give the correct answer eventually.

The government should takeover UPRR, BNSF, NS and CSX. That way Amtrak can dispatch the entire US. Their on time performance would still be a joke.

The training is supposed to be a straight through program. When you finish your supposed to be a Conductor. MNRR bargained with the Conductors union on this. So far there has yet to be a class that has finished and marked up as conductors. The program should be closer to 7 months. There will be alot...

If I were to be interviewed I would wear a tie as well. The winter uniform requires you to wear one. If you are a lady you should wear either a business suit or dress. The job of an AC requires you to act as a professional so you should look the part. One question they always ask is why do you want ...

Co-Op city should have a station with over 50K residents. They have poor transportation options considering how close they are to the railroad track. Wheter its MNRR or LIRR, Co-Op city should have train service.

The test used to consist of basic math, mechanicical abilities and a psychological test. You really cant study for it. Your credit history and interview will be important as well. Dont go to interview wearing jeans and a T shirt. iIf they ask you are you willing to work weekends and holidays you bet...
