Countersunk... that is a nice looking loco in my opinion. The first dual service loco in many many years

CDOT 127 spotted in Buffalo yesterday, so maybe no 4 will be the MNCR unit.
If Conductors are in charge, why are they promoted to be Engineer???

After looking at the photos of 125, 6 & 7, it got me wondering, what do they have for horns? Hopefully they didn't go electric.

It's not an electric horn. If you look at photographs of the fireman's side of the locomotive, you'll see what looks to be a Nathan M3 horn mounted halfway down the long hood.

Debate over "design" of the units was discussed extensively here:
Testing of the two units on the property will begin today (5/17) and tomorrow during the day. Train crews will report to Harmon at 8:00AM both days. Word is that MN wants these units in service ASAP.
I'm stuck on a sandbar on Cape Cod, and I couldn't be happier!!!

I hope in hurry to get testing all of sudden , that they do not overlook the following Pre-Revenue test plan.
