It's too bad they're not using heavy rail on it. If NJT built a connection from the Midtown Direct tracks to the NYSW tracks at Undercliff Junction near Tonnelle Avenue, then regular trains could run from there and link up with both the PVL and Bergen Co. lines.

Heavy Rail over the Tappan Zee might have actually been the worst waste of money in a long time anyway... glad someone has finally seen that.
