They are regularly used, when someone indicates they want to use it, as I said before anyone can use them, however there is more time taken up when used all the time, as was mentioned by someone else about deploying the bridge plate, also the engineer would have to stow the seat, dump the train, rem...

Got a look at 66 last night, he had P42dc 107 and AEM7 946, been getting lucky this week as track 1 has been out of service and we have been running track 2 Holmes to Morris (keeps us in front of 66 and gives me an eyeball on it almost every night)

That is incorrect that ONLY wheelchair passengers can use the high levels, anyone can use them, they are there for public use, just keep in mind that some trains will have to make double stops and there is more than just opening the door at the engineers door which in turn take more time, this howev...

you will hear various noises from electric locomotives depending what they are doing, what power is being taken etc etc, try searching for class 85 (roarers) in the uk, those things would blow your ears off, likewise the class 86 and 87s had a distinct whine, class 90s had more of a purr, sorry for ...

Take away the rail knowledge and railfan in you to take this into account, Joe Public will arrive at the station see a train that stops at their station and board it, this applies to commuters as well, it doesn't matter that a train even a few minutes later will also get them home, it is instinct to...

Tonights (Thursday train/Friday morning at Trenton) version had a P42DC leading the AEM-7 a dead AmCan (not sure exactly what), baggage and regular coaches, no numbers tonight they passed us while we crawled towards a stop signal at Morris.

2 nights ago it was just the AEM-7.

The tie train is currently sitting on the PRR Morrisville bridge with AMTK 721 on the West/South end long hood forward, he is on track 3, stopping trains are using Track 4 and through trains appear to be using track 2. should be a nice shot from Delmorr Ave in Morrisville in the afternoon/evening li...

Hi Budd,

Yes that is me with the Tripod, I am an AC (for now), generally I just head home after we get in, but the previous 2 fridays I have had the chance to run to the car for my camera equipment for those night shots, my interests I keep out of work as the 2 don't really mix well.

After getting to Trenton on Septa triple 7s (with 269 leading) I notice 66 was running a little late, ran up to the car for the camera and shot P42DC #110 leading an AEM7, I am told this is a regular occurance now for this train so MOW can take place without having to worry about electric traction g...

It was on Train #777 last night, should have been picked up this morning by 9706 and made into a 6 car back to Roberts Yard, Friday nights are the only night 777 berths on the west end on 5 track, Mon through Thurs they are on the east end after reversing at Fair or Ham depending which track they ru...
