If you were paying attention, only a few posts above you one of the guys alluded to 942 being Amtrak owned. All of the DCs and some of the ACs are Amtrak owned I believe. I do not know which ACs.

At least they're fighting it now rather than putting the cars in service and trying to fix the problem later. They are putting plenty of these in service with "problems". Things they know about but wont affect their operation. They will address them later. I imagine the logic of the cars ...

yes, between this one and the ACE train that ended up in the water, id say two very lucky outcomes. this train derailed i think doing 70 or so mph.
