Does CP have any plans to increase train frequency with the new cranes going in at St. John? I know they dabbled with that last year, but things seemed to go back the other way.

I think that depends more on the plans of the shipping lines. CP's service only ramped up after Hapag announced the seasonal Hamburg service. Then CP also landed the cma cgm business, but I don't know how substantial it is. After Hapag went back to 1 call a week after suspending or dropping Hamburg, CP dropped back to 1 train pair from 2. No idea if Hapag will increase it port calls again but clearly the port is hoping for more business with the new cranes and port expansion continuing.

121 isn't even running a consistent 7 days a week at the moment, going to need more traffic for more trains...

Thanks for the info, hopefully they will get some more business. It would be great to see the Moosehead have a few more trains everyday.
