Tonight caught a quick look at an MP-15ac running long hood forward moving pretty quickly east towing what looked like the "decapitated" FA unit behind it on the grade between Wyandanch and Deer Park Ave.

Just saw a pair of MP15s (didn't catch the numbers) with an M3 sandwiched in-between moving west of Lindenhurst very slowly. Assume that's the car that's the modified sandite car?

If it was a single car, it was one of the two M1s... if a pair, one of the two M3 pair conversions, though I do not believe the second pair is completed yet.

When it snows/ices, the function is alcohol sprayer service and not sandite.

Heres the latest on the mp15s;
Last Thursday 171 was seen on the track with the three SW1001s that are currently oos.
Today 3/21 at around 3:20pm I spotted the 166 in new paint coupled to DE 30 404 and I saw 172 idling on track 5 at Jamaica and then was seen as the Jamaica protect as of 3:38pm.

160 was the LIC Switcher. It looked very ugly, with literally more of the 1970s paint than the 2000s paint, and a big splotch of rust near the front. Stunk, too.

It's a burn mark, not rust.
