1563 sat at 248 for about 40 minutes. The main problem was that the brakes wouldn't release (obviously).

A test train is currently disabled just east of CP 241 on track 3 (East Norwalk). I wonder what happened.

UPDATE: As of 16:00, they are on the move west. They sat for approximately 45 minutes. If all of those M8s are new, maybe the carbon strips on the pantographs are too sensitive.

They highballed moments before my train (1551) departed at about 10:07.

currently there are 122 cars accepted and 4 more in next few days, next four to be accepted are 9224/225 and 9226/227.

So that's roughly 50% of the original M2 fleet car wise (not saying that 50% of the Budd Metropolitan fleet has been retired). I'm sure seat-wise MNRR is not quite at 50% yet. It's also roughly 25-33% of the total order of 405.

Has SLE testing started? Word was this summer, right?
