207 was a Delaware Car outsource.

How can it be that it's taken 9 whole months to get only 4 of 10 cars back from DC that only needed their 4-year inspections updated??? Mass Coastal got the same job on their 3 assigned cars done within a couple weeks. Some of the K-cars have been out and back from heavy rebuild in less time!

My admittedly uninformed conclusion: vendor is backed up, behind schedule. :(

Backed up at Delaware, though, isn't taking up space in BET.

As I understand it, the 1074 was brought to Kingston to put air through the stored units to test them.
Apparently the 904 broke down and as of 6PM Thursday night, the move had gotten to Middleboro.
Wonder if they went to Southampton Street or Readville instead?

GP40MC's are 1115-1139...

The Kingston/Middleboro move only made it to Braintree Yard after the 904 developed problems.
Engines were left at Braintree Yard.

New extra running tomorrow to Middleboro and return sometime after 8AM.
