4183 was considered as work train engine for East of Hudson , but after checking clearances it was found to be restricted to some 22% of railroad. not only because 6 axles but the length of engine with the big tank would have fouled signals in or near switches like in GCT/Harmon/ MO . also according...

No toilet s...

Jeff I can guarantee you that CDOT will not go for DMU's just as Mr. Guiletti how he liked them, and you will get ear full.
in his career he got screwed with RDC's - SPV's - Colorado DMU and he is not going to get screwed a fourth time .

a car cleaner cleans on average 14 cars a shift , that is equal to 7 x 1600 square foot house .
besides picking up, sweeping , taking trash to container and mopping do you think such a person can do in 8 hours ?

from a CDOT insider , the rumor about MBTA wanting cars back is false, the lease is good for close to 5 years and MBTA has not asked for cars back.

not all places are ok by EPA to fuel , lots of watershed area's no matter what precautions you take . If you build a shop and originate trains in Waterbury you also have to build a crew facility cause it becomes a starting point . you still need to schedule deadhead moves cause trains do not get to ...

there is no shop in wassaic
