how is weekend shifts done? Do any enginners/conductors that work on weekdays work on weekends? I know one conductor i know that works on the kingston line 7 days (i think).

"Even though the actual tie replacement may be almost completed there are still things that need to be done to the Lines to make sure that they are up to FRA Standards."

Has the Subway lines in Boston historically always ended at 12AM even before the MBTA was created? Like in the 1920s did the red line (whatever it was back then) run say 24/7?

if greenbush had been built and finished it in 1997 it would have cost $413000000.00 instead of the $534000000 =) i am talking in purchasing power value. 534000000 is 2007 power while the 413 mil is 1997 power

Why do most trains skip the plymouth stop and go to kingston instead? I would think it would terminate at plymouth in addition the rush hour trains all originate out of kingston.
