I doubt the 1029/1067 have left Middleboro as yet. Maybe tonight. Usually they get reported in Framingham or
Selkirk by some of the regulars on Facebook. I know they are not west of Selkirk since they have not been reported
or shown up on the Fairport, N.Y. cam.

As for the screamers, I know all except two were sold at auction. There was a time period stated in the auction listing
of when they had to be off the property - which I am sure has come and gone. Guess they are being parted/scrapped on site.
Two units that did not sell at auction are back up for sale at $30,000 each.

1067/1029 picked up by CSX last night in Middleboro, 10/12/21

1066 continues to have HEP issues

Haven’t seen any videos of 1026 being tested in Erie or anywhere in fact. I bet 1066 will be next to join 1065 up north if it keeps having issues. Why do some of the rebuilt F40’s keep having issues even though the internal components are new? Makes no sense to me other than the usual lack of maintenance.

MBTX 1029 & 1067 hitched a ride west from Framingham on CSX B722 (I think that's the symbol) headed for Worcester as seen passing through Southborough at about 0900 Thursday 10/14/21. 1029/1067's ride was upgraded to Q019 as seen passing The Steaming Tender live cam at Palmer at around 0615 Friday 10/15/21.

MBTA 3247 –the old work GP40– has been added to the F40PH3 contract. It has been sitting dead at Area 52 for a number of years now. It will be sent out towards the end of the program. The plan is to upgrade it to Dash 3 specs since it is currently just a straight GP40 (GP40-1)

Same Here just wanted to hear your thoughts. Probaly not gonna be on passenger service

Interesting news on the 3247. No mention, yet, on NE Transit though. The MBTA needs work train power since the Gensets appear to be a bust and anything
they lease now (GMTX) doesn't have PTC.

are the 902 and 904 still kicking around?
  by JacobKoppel

902 was sold to a museum in 2015/6.

904 caught fire at the very end of the Needham branch (Past the Heights station) in Fall 2018. It has been OOS in area 52 since.
I wont get into it here but I think there was something shady going on with the 904 fire... for insurance money or something.

Why would the MBTA have insurance on a work locomotive?
