What you may have seen was either GP40PH-2 4100, or an MP20B-3, either way good catch. And yes, it was probably MM-08

Does 4100 still have its Solid Comet V set or did MM-14 or MM-08 replace that? Also what did MM-14 replace?

I saw the 4-car Comet V set behind an ALP 45.

The long consist MM-08 I saw did have a Geep with a 1000-series number, although it went by so quick and the lighting was poor so I didn't catch the whole number.

I've seen videos with 1004 working Bay Head. Maybe that was it?

What you might have seen was an MP20B-3, MMC switcher locomotives rebuilt from GP40FH-2s that sometimes stray from the shops and run equipment moves. they have numbers 1001-1005 I believe.

MM-14 pulled out some shops that were already in the yard. MM-90 was in Bay Head early this afternoon with 1005 and 4217. 4217 replaced 4014, and 4100 was pulled out. The Comet V set was replaced in Hoboken

Does anyone know if they will be running the weekend express service and hourly shuttle train this summer? They are not listed on the upcoming schedule. I know there is PTC work resulting in some cancellations, but I thought that was just during the week. It would be a shame if they didn't run those trains this summer.

Well, at least I got it while it was here this past weekend. definitely one of my best catches of the year so far other than the two private cars I caught on the Crescent at Princeton Junction last month. Although I do have a question, wasn't 4217 on the RVL yesterday with the MARC coaches? I know now its 4200 with 4009 but I swear 4217 was with em yesterday.
