How is the Open House organized? Is it guided tours? What do you typically get to see?

The Harmon Open House has displays which you can browse through. There is also an excursion, (usually), which leaves the yard periodically and goes to Pkskl I think and right back.

Occasionally they may have the wreck crew knock over and demonstrate righting a boxcar on the rails.

There are various other displays as well - the MTA Police usually have a display for kids as well as some sort of Operation Lifesaver literature.
