What other cab cars were wrecked on the MBTA?

Does anyone know the wreck and scrapdates for the 1648?

Im talking the exact dates(for example: **/**/****)

There is no exact scrap date...My notes show it was placed inside BET March 2006 for removal of parts,
once that was done it was scrapped outside. Hoever, it probably dragged into at at least April 2006.

Hi there! I am just trying to find out a little about the history of wrecked MBTA Coaches such as the 303, 315, etc; I would be happy to see any info and photos that anyone knows about, thanks!

305 was wrecked 12/12/90 and listed beyond repair. Parted out and scrapped 1995-96 as part of the Pullman rebuild Program.

315 was wrecked 12/12/90 and listed beyond repair. Parted out and scrapped 1995-96 as part of the Pullman rebuild Program.

1301 was wrecked 8/11/81 and scrapped in 1986.

1403 was wrecked 11/12/87 and sold to JF White 1993 and scrapped 1995 Somerville, Ma.

1648 was wrecked 1990 and eventually parted out and scrapped 2006.

Five NJ Transit Comet I coaches 1708,1717, 1719,1738 & 1744 (borught for parts) scrapped 2006.

If I remember corectly about the incident with 1301 at Beverly Farms that the engineer of the control car perished and also there was a railfan riding the B&M engine . Please corect me if I got the story mixed up. My memory is not as sharp as it once was.

The engineer died right at the second the collision happened from what Ive been told.

I was also told the locomotive pushing that train was the 1009.

And on NETransit it says the 303 was wrecked in 1988 from an unknown cause.....hmmmmm

What a interesting thing why did the cab car come off the tracks and land what looks like on top of B&M locomotive??
