Very nice pictures. Thanks for sharing.

Would it be safe to assume production is running on time?

What a shame, I liked the rendering paint scheme more.
Still really excited for these things to be in service though.

Agreed, it was much nicer. And I still don't care for the slanty headlights that give 'em an "evil-eyed reptile" look....

Absolutely!

Looks like a model railroders first attempt at painting an undecorated shell. It’s a shame, the artist’s rendition is sharp.

I'm seeing similarities with the Phase III E60s with the stripes.

I agree that the original artist's rendering was MUCH classier. I might even live with the SEPTA logo but the oversized lettering is hideous.

When is this thing gonna be delivered? January? I want to be on the first service run.

IS SEPTA about to "update" their Graphics package?? Then these ACS-64's are the first sign of the "new" graphics package .

The artist’s rendition is far superior. The as delivered paint job looks like a bus on rails.

While I personally think that alone, the artist's rendition looks better, I think that this scheme will fit in with the existing fleet of Comets quite well.
I just hope they save an AEM for posterity :(

Wow, talk about generic...

They could have had a few graphic arts students at a local university do a scheme, it'd be far better than this...

And they would have done it for FREE. I wonder how much they paid for someone to use WordArt on the side of a locomotive?

Everyone:

I agree-the new SEPTA Sprinter color scheme is quite disappointing...The earlier rendering that
Roadmaster posted looks so much better...I agree with Glenn and think that the oversized word
SEPTA on the side is not necessary - I feel the same way about the Silverliner 5 cars along with
their side striping...I also agree with the thought posted by Nasadowsk and R3 in which students
of art could have come up with a more interesting design...MACTRAXX
