Who owns the two RDCs by the BET? They are just sitting there on shop trucks and probably won't be used by anyone in their state right now.

My favorite has to be the YN2 scheme on the AC4400CWs and AC6000CWs. It reminds me of the Seaboard System. Plus it makes the engines look good. The YN3 is too dark. But I think they should honor Chessie more without the B&O dark Blue.

North Adams is a great place. You get the Guilford/Pan Am after it exits Hoosac Tunnel or before it goes in. Spur lines are all over and it is only a 10 minute drive to Hoosac Tunnel.

The Sports Depot in Allston, MA is a great spot for CSX fans. It is located in an old New Haven depot. The Boston Line to Worcester runs right next to this building. The tables, if you ask for next to the tracks, are five feet from the tracks. CSX with ES44DCs, AC6000CWs, SD70MACs are regular visito...

Recently I took a trip to the west and I found the small town of Alliance, NE by accident. I cannot keep this amazing yard complex concealed. Coming from the South you follow BNSF double track and you see the lights illuminating the yard. The yard is extremely large and has coal trains coming from W...

I recently visited the Kansas City area but I was unable to locate KCS yards. I did however see KCS AC4400s on UP tracks I crossed on RT29 North. I was on this spot to see BNSF Murray Yard. This is a great spot if you like the BNSF. It isn't Argentine size but it is large. If you are coming through ...

I believe 4070 is kept up in Montreal. It was sold from Canadian Pacific to Agence Metropolitaine de Transport up in Montreal. It is in AMT colors as 1300. Though it is sitting inactive right now. http://www.myrailfan.com/.../AMT_1300_JONCTION_1b.jpg

I too have noticed this engine, # 905. I have been looking at this engine every time I go down from Boston to New York about every 3 months. I believe it ran about three years ago when it was on the other end of the Conecticut market, and it was not rusted over then. It is definately still painted w...
