Media is reporting that this is due to Amtrak switching problems. Shuttle busses running between Cynwyd and Overbrook.

SEPTA reported switch problems. Given their propensity to blame amtrak switch problems I took it to mean jeff was malfunctioning instead

You do know the Cynwyd train do need to use a short portion of Amtrak territory right? It may have been switches at 36th st, 38st, 44th or Valley, the probable scenario is the switch failed in a position not affecting Harrisburg line trains, no maintainer available so Amtrak requested cynwyds be held out, don't always assume it has to be a Septa problem

For the last several days (since the CTD strike ended), the departure monitors at Jefferson have been displaying departure times for the Cynwyd trains, complete with Track 6 noted - but those times are at Suburban Station, not in Jefferson. As we all know, Cynwyd trains don't serve Jefferson, & that station doesn't even HAVE a Track 6! :-D

The usual notice that "Cynwyd trains board at Suburban Station..." is now nowhere to be seen.
