The 1921 is still out back with our ever growing deadline. Has not been
restenciled for its supposide new owner.

Rumor was it was heading to the Hobo for repair work. Also another one
stating it was going to Greenbush for work train service. Who knows!

I did not realize that 1600's were that different. How long has it been since they ran in regular southside service?

At least 10 or 12 years.

Just another example of the MBTA sending the inferior more derelict equipment to the north side :-D :( . I am starting to feel that if the southside keeps getting better equipment and service, why should the northside be paying the same amout for such inferior service.

I understand, I agree with you in this one. You guys in the Northside should be getting service like us Southsiders.

yea, but the north side can't really get any of the control cars in the 1500's because of the suppresion need on the south side

And us on the north side DO NOT want the 1500s to lead! They smell and are very loud in the control cab. The 1517 is being used on the north side as a leader these days. This car is one of the cars with the 300 series car seats inside.

BUt at least the cabs are slightly roomier than the 1600's. :-)
