Remember Dispatcher Fred!

Romero. He was called the "little Ceasar". Romero,(think it's spelled right)
was killed in a car accident some years back.I've seen a 30MPH slow order
on a track, and Freddy would send a coal train thru at 50-60per.
Freddy knew how to run trains.
Robinson was another great one.Robinson was called "the master of train
movements".Oh,i miss those "Congressrail"days...

Does CSX have control over CSXT, or is it the opposite, or doesn't it matter?

The way I remember how the CSX name came to be was that CSX was supposed to be a temporary name until the management settled on an official merged name. I wonder why tht never occured.

The only reason that CSX's reporting mark has a "T" on the end it to differentiate it from private owner cars that end in "X" (GATX, TTX, USX, ACFX, FURX, etc.)...

"CSXT" doesn't mean anything, it's an arbitrary reporting mark issued by the AAR. The name of the Company is "C-S-X."

What I always heard was it stood for Chessie, Seaboard, and the X signifying future growth.
