Hi,

can anyone please advise what the WEEKDAY equipment cycles for the Waterbury and Danbury line (which aren't formed off sets that have arrived from GCT) trains will likely be when the timetable commences on July 7th onwards?

I am in the area in September and wish to ride all the sets at least once.

TIA

Does Waterbury still get the SLE set during midday or no? Someone asked me this earlier and I don't know if that practice went out the window when the Waterbury stuff got based out of Stamford.

^^ PS never mind on that, I asked someone off board and got my answer :)

I have the timetable already, I want to potentially ride each set in service that day at least once (depending on which individual locomotives are assigned service). What I don't know is, for one example, what the set which works train 1847 does next. It could work 1822, or it could work 1830. This is assuming there are only 2 sets in use whilst the four through trains are in GCT. If I don't know what each set does, I can't work out an itinerary to travel on each set once in the quickest (and cheapest) way possible.

1811 first through train DAN to GCT
1819 second through train DAN to GCT
1831 third through train DAN to GCT

1837 Danbury mini bomb DAN to STAM then 1812 back up branch, then 1855 back down.

1806/1847 Waterbury mini that makes a round trip to Danbury after an earlier Waterbury round trip

1844 first through train NB GCT to DAN
1848 second through train NB GCT to DAN
1860 third through train NB GCT to DAN
1868 fourth through train NB GCT to DAN

Not sure of equipment cycles on Waterbury and early PM Danbury mini cycles I'm not sure so I'm not going to mislead you.

First question, are all these trains usually BL20GH powered?
Second question, do they use 3 trainsets and each set out in the AM comes back out in the PM, or do they use any additional sets?

1844 is a through train that normally is the first to yard in Danbury. All through trains have Genesis locomotives while the mini/shuttles have the BL20GH.

If that is the case, where does the set that forms train 1891 come from?

Correct 1844 is a maxi from the city. It turns with another crew for 1891, 1882, 1897, and then 1894 back to Danbury. The mini bomb runs up as 1838 where they re-crew and work 1881, 1876, 1895, and 1888.
