Unknown Card - Possible Crew Pass

Does anyone know what this is? It was given to me by an engineer at CHW.

Its a RRD employee parking permit. We only use them in Powelton yard because the college kids were parking in the employee lot. They use stickers now. That is the old one they used to give out.

Can't tell if you are trolling or not. But I'm still curious.

Why did you need to ask the conductor? Weren't you already told what it is? Why did an engineer give you one? Are you a child? Was he like, here have a souvenir? Couldn't you have asked what it was for then? Did you ask anyone on Tuesday like you said you would?

You can forget about it being a pass. A pass shows the name of the individual to whom issued and has a printed serial number; they are certainly not casually handed out. (Under certain circumstances something called a "floating pass" may be kept in an office for use by certain individuals when needed; it must be handed back in after use.) I think scotty269 was pulling your chain. RCman2626's answer makes sense.
