The 7 car private cars special train from GCT is due to arrive into Chicago IL this afternoon at 3:30 PM CT based on NS Chicago Line Traffic as per trainorders.com.

For onward movement to Huntington WV this week ... cars are leased to C P Huntington group for use in their four New River Trains this month.

Months back, I saw somewhere that there was going to be a special train consisting of private cars running on the NEC between PHL and NYP on Sun 10/30. Is that still going to happen?

It looks like the private cars including the Alexandra Hamilton will be on the rear of 42 on 10-30 from PHL to NYP.

Juniata Terminal Company's Pennsylvania 120 and Warrior Ridge are at Penn Coach Yard next to Amtrak's Exhibit Train.

We will be leaving Philadelphia's 30th St. Station at 3:05 pm on October 30, 2016 and heading for New York's Penn Station along Amtrak's Northeast Corridor. We will be on the rear end of Amtrak's Pennsylvanian as we roll at speeds up to 90mph through suburban Pennsylvania and New Jersey before plunging under the Hudson River and into Penn Station at approximately 4:50 pm.

Does this car really have such a low speed restriction? Is there going to be switching at Pittsburgh or Philadelphia so that the "Alexander Hamilton" will be on the rear going into New York? Will the observation end be facing to the rear?

I saw a photo of The Pennsylvanian through Elizabeth, PA yesterday. The "Alexander Hamilton" was indeed trailing with the observation end at the very rear of the train.
Can't speak much for the speed restrictions of that particular car, but when they passed me in New Brunswick on the Northeast Corridor, the train seemed to be at its usual speed.

Tuesday's train 42 Pennsylvanian had Ohio Central Sugar Creek on the rear arriving from Pittsburgh.
Departing for New York, Sugarcreek was behind the motor.

Viewliner sleeper 62049 and business car 10001 BEECH GROVE are on the rear of train 91(13) at ALX.
