I've been out of town for 72 hours on a business trip, and see that all of the posts pertaining to trespassing and vandalism on the 2800 series coach thread have been deleted. WHY? What did I miss?
I was pointing out that railroads and private equipment owners have been having problems with irresponsable railfans being where they are not supposed to be. Yet the moderators defend their trespassing and claim to be aware of the rules? Really?
Now I see that a very expensive air brake part is missing from one of the steam locomotives undergoing restoration. When is this crap going to end?
I would be interested in seeing the deleted posts, beyond those that Mr. Edwards and I posted at just about the same time Thursday evening. Could someone email them to me, perhaps from their files? Or can the deleted posts be restored? It would be the proper thing to do. Is someone trying to hide something? Or is this just a lack of integrity?
