Permission to occupy track 1 in Red Bank yard. Clear of the main 4:30 PM

Waiting at BANK interlocking for two trains to pass then SA31 will head back.

Permission to open up 3:03 PM

SA31 is at Church Running Track…

There’s a picture circulating on the internet which claims Conrail will be bringing the Santa train back this year, and that it will run from Oak Island to Browns and back this year on Dec 10th…

Will try to post the picture later if I have the time…

SA31 has Permission on Church 3:25 PM

Today’s SA31 has CSX 4432 LHF with 8 cars for the C&D exchange in Red Bank.

Should be leaving South Amboy now if they haven’t already.

OI-16 has 53 cars for Brown’s tonight. They should be heading there in a bit. They have to drop 72 or so cars for Port Reading on West Siding…

SA31 is going to Dayton with CSX 4451, NS 5285, C&D 2005 and about 24 cars. 4 of which look like they are going to Freehold tomorrow…

It was being towed. Third engine in the consist. Shame I can’t post the video.

I would hazard a guess it’s either being fixed there or being swapped with 1888.

Also, tomorrow is supposed to be the day the Conrail Santa Train runs from Oak Island to Browns…

Conrail Santa Train power is CSX 6210 and an NS geep.

Will be at Port Newark at 10 AM
Port Reading at 12 PM
Browns at 2 PM

Santa train will be leaving Port Reading for Browns in 12 minutes or so. JR-05 has to come back from Motiva also.

Power on the Santa train is NS 5311, CSX 6210, and a bay window caboose with Christmas decorations.

They spun the power around at Port Reading so now 6210 is leading. They haven’t left yet…
