Interesting you mentioned the present LA subway in the movies. Ages ago, I saw a black and white movie from the 1950s which featured an "abandoned" trolley subway terminal with cars. It was the Pacific Electric underground terminal at 6th & Main Sts. Does anyone remember it and know its title?

Speaking Of subways in movies, I saw probably one of the best subway movies of all time the other night. The Taking Of Pelham 1 2 3. Not the remake with Mark Wahlberg , the original made in 1974 starring Walter Matthau and Martin Balsom. That was a good movie.
