Everyone: SEPTA purchased two cabooses from the C&NW - one ended up being placed down
on track 5 at Suburban Station as has been noted and the other used in M of W service...

That "flying flag" on these cars was a C&NW feature - I have seen other pictures of yellow North
Western cabooses with these flags and when SEPTA painted them they were able to keep them
intact and they definitely help to identify them...

In the C&NW Historical Society Freight Car Gallery...

On pages 8 (two pictures) 9 (five pictures) and 10 (7 pictures) there are other cabooses
shown with these flying flags...Does anyone have the two C&NW original car numbers?

The SPAX 2000 looks like an ex-PC, ex-NYC caboose. Its a crew rider car for MOW use.
