Anybody else seens the string of Arrow I coaches sitting in the weeds at the far west end of the yard at Port Jervis?

A lot of the windows are smashed, and all the doors to the inside of the passenger areas are welded shut.

Here are some photos.

Just curious, saw them when I was in Port Jervis thisweekend (July 18).

Someone had brought this up awhile ago, IIRC?
Why would these converts be headed for the scrapper anyway? Plus with the shortage of pax car's, im sure some operator would have seen these.

These cars are not going to scraper, why block doors closed if its scaped anyway. the cars are either sold already or up for sale.

I was in Port Jervis last Tuesday and I saw this same string of cars. It was hard to tell how they were brought there since the track was horribly overgrown on either end of the train. However, my friend and I had no trouble climbing the trains and walking inside them. It looks as though people have been tampering with the electronics inside. Any idea what's happening to these beauties?
