Is there siding behind the lumber yard or smithtown, and is there siding anywhere else in smithtown?

If there is still a siding behind 84 lumber it is buried deep under the weeds and brush. I was in the back of the lumber yard abour a week ago and poked around to see what still might remain. There is nothing on the inside of the fence.

The maintenance siding at the east end of the station has been gone since the high platforms were installed in the mid to late eighties.

There is a siding in St. James, which is within the township of Smithtown :)

The siding in St. James is serviced by the New York and Atlantic Railway. Centerbeam flatcars with structural steel are spotted there, but I forget the name of the customer.

I don't know who it was for, but there was a siding west of Smithtown, just before the bridge over the Nissequogue River. The switch has long since been removed.

Jay, the siding was for Smithtown Lumber, it was trailing point going east.
