There is a bill in the senate that would divide up 2 billion dollars amongst the nation's transit systems to help them deal with the state budget issues nationwide. Transit is in crisis, some systems will see service cut in half, while others have massive fare hikes, and combined with layoffs and service reductions. This is not good for our economy, it isn't good for the employees of the agencies, and the riding public suffers, we need transit systems to be fully staffed and run without unreasonable fares and service intervals.

Join the fight to get this bill passed. Tell everyone, we need this bill, it is the only way we will be spared the worst scenarios in most systems, some have all ready cut service, raised fares, cut the workforce or combinations of all 3. Help reverse or lessen these state budget shortfalls from crippling the nation's transit systems!

Thank you!
