I know what "profiteroles" are, because I am a French major. But "Chicken quesedilla cornucopia" has me puzzled.
Is there anything wrong with a coach passenger having the ability to reserve a seat and a meal in the dining car, and prepay exorbitantly [!] online when making the trip reservation? It seems that Amtrak is leaving money on the table. Obviously, prepaying eliminates the need for monetary transaction...
I haven't been to Ballardvale lately, either, but the shot would not be as good as the one you posted at Newmarket. There's a lot of trees on the east side of the ROW, IIRC.
Off topic, but does someone have a list of the locals in D2 and D1? TIA.
The Downeaster is not subsidized by Amtrak. Amtrak merely runs the service for NNEPRA. The Amtrak CEO would do better to worry about how his trains will operate between Worcester and the Post Road Branch on the B&A. MassDOT should have the same concern for their East-West rail proposal. MassDOT ...
Amtrak's engine changes at New Haven and Washington are typically scheduled in the 20-30 minute range, but I'm not sure it really takes that long, I think some of it is just schedule slop/padding before venturing out onto single track lines where they want to be more on schedule. AFAIK, the engine ...
For one thing, the test track at TCCI in Pueblo is far different from the twisty, turny ROW east of New York. That said, they have not indicated where on the NEC the problems were occuring, have they?
I would not want to do the walk to the Co-Op City station either when it's cold or there is inclement weather. The feeder bus route seems to be the way to go. The existing BX30 bus could simply run between the #6 Dyre Ave line, thru Co-Op, and over to Metro North.
It's not simply the states' lack of cooperation that poses an obstacle. The host railroads have a lot to say also.
The legislation out there right now would conduct feasibility studies. As far as routes go I think the Back Road is the only viable option at this point. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk Here's a good feasibiity study. Run the service, and after 6 months, if it's not viable, cancel it. We're ...
Let's get real. If what is going on now with the establishment of service on the Gulf Coast is any indicator, no one should be hopeful that most of this plan is doomed to fail. What a mess that proposal has become, and it's not going to be any different in places such as Ohio and Texas to name only ...
It wasn't that way until a few years ago.
