He's been caught in so many lies about NJT, I don't know what to believe anymore.
For most of the time since the Comet V's arrived on the scene, more often than not, you would see solid sets of MTA equipment with either a geep of F40 leading the MTA equipment. Since the PTC fiasco, NJT seems to be mixing equipment all over with more NJT equipment going to Port Jervis all the time...
On weekends, Amtrak single tracks the tunnel every single week so getting any more trains through would not be possible. Given a choice between a true express to Hoboken and a painfully slow MD train to NYP, I think I'd choose Hoboken. I could probably walk through Montclair faster than those trains...
It's so true! NJT forgot what an express was about the time they cancelled the Tom Tabor. The rule of thumb is, every time a train gets changed to go directly to NYC, it gets slower and stops more often. It happened with the Dover trains, it happened with the Montclair trains. The only trains that m...
The yard had its “soft opening” with full service by Summer. The eastbound service is scheduled to run 6 days per week according to the schedule.
There are still several customers on the Suffern Industrial. The local serves them a few times per week.

Maybe they really should activate that Honesale line and people from Scranton could just go there. At least the tracks a...

There was nothing listed about additional interchange points. I would think the additional trackage rights would help them if there are any additional businesses that come online in the future. I doubt they'll really be going west of Middletown anytime soon.
Are we actually sure this is happening or is this just a Railpace rumor going wild.
