Was the late George Krambles responsible for the use of trolley pans on the original "Skokie Swift" cars?

Were they used on any other routes?

I believe George Krambles did design the trolley pans.

They were only used on the Swift -- Evanston and Lake Street used regular trolley poles until they were converted to third rail.
