Question on Routes 10 and 15.

Have any PCC been showing up on Route 10 and any Kawaski been showing up on Route 15 these days or not?

K-cars don't run on Route 15 for ADA considerations. When Route 15 has a trolley driver shortage, they substitute buses.
PCC II's aren't allowed in the subway because they lack the cab signals needed for subway operation, so they don't operate on Route 10.

I spotted a K car on route 15 tonight, turning from Girard onto Frankford toward the turnaround.

Sorry for the crappy photos, I was the passenger and had to act quickly before it got out of sight.

i saw those the other day, too. i imagine they were on the line to help plow the snow. the k cars are heavier and also have more ground clearance, guess inepta thought they could cheat a little in the name of clearing the line.

The K cars were still running on rt 15 at least through Thursday, long after the snow was cleared out of there.

There was definitely no snow when I took these on Friday.
