A little fun and pictures today at CUS - 4/6/10

Epic fail as to the mission, which was to capture the outbound Chief and inbound Builder. Missed both by minutes. However, I got some good Metra and Hi shots. I started at the south end and caught 5 BNSF cars with CB&Q-style lettering, plus one with actual CB&Q lettering. On the north side, I got a great pic of new 216, plus Metra F40PH and Amtrak 90368 meeting.

You got it. I figured it would be picked up pretty quickly here.

I did the same thing again this morning, 5/27/2010. It was a beautiful morning and I rode CTA downtown an hour early to watch the morning rush arrive. Cannot be nice weather for standing on an overpass and watching trains.
