Went hiking up to the old base and found tracks up there. Seeing that the base is 200 feet or more above the Port Road along the river how did the trains get up there?

The PRR built a spur from the Octoraro branch, into the Bainbridge Naval Training Center around 1941 or so. The tracks came down from Liberty Grove to the warehouse/unloading area just off rt 276. Much of the ROW can still be traced from where the tracks still exist, on up to the Grove Junction.
