Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell presented checks totaling nearly $78 million for economic development projects in Philadelphia on Tuesday...

$1.1 million for Girard Avenue streetscape project to include lighting, streetscape/trolley improvements in the area between I95 and Broad Street.

This is the same trolley that is being held up by SEPTA's bad neighbor relations in Overbrook. I wonder what kind of improvements will be made, as the tracks are new and Girard St around Broad St was recently paved last time I checked.
