Cab Car with CB&Q bell

On a few occasions this week while waiting for my train to leave CUS I hear a train pulling into the south concourse that has a bell that sounds like it came from an old CB&Q cab car. Was a bell taken off a CB&Q car and fitted onto an 84/8500?

8473, on SWS, has had a CB&Q bell for a while, a good 4 months. Bones was the first engineer to have the car with the new, or should I say, old.. bell. It's interesting to be on SWS with the variety of sounds you here from the 8400's.
