There's no need or reason to use two locomotives to haul <5 cars....

The head of Elementia USA commented Wednesday, Feb. 28, about the offer from Michael Carlow of United States Cement.

"We are simply not interested in selling the property. We continue to utilize the site for distribution of cement and plan to continue to do so in the foreseeable future," said Timothy Kuebler, chief executive officer of Elementia USA.
Most importantly:
Kuebler said the company is planning to "continue to ship needed high quality cement in the Maine market by customer truck from the Thomaston terminal. The rail option really isn’t an option given the many switches from rail server to rail server increasing costs."

Drove by the Rockland yard yesterday (Wednesday) morning. Looked like the RDC's engine was running, saw exhaust coming out the stack. Perhaps it's getting fixed?
