1996 trip to Amtrak Sunnyside Yards. Does anyone have more information as to the date, schedule, photos, and can help ID the folks in the numbered photo?
The coach in the photo, Amtrak 4616, has an interesting history.
Built by St Louis Car Company in 1964 as UP 5541. Later Amtrak 4581 then 4616. Later RBBX 43012. Later NCDOT 400024 CABARRUS COUNTY, but not refurbished for revenue service. Was listed for sale in 2020; I’m uncertain about it’s current status.
