Was very hard to tell with the snow and speed but 214 is back, rebuilt, lost its OLI logo, and was the lead on a double header, leading 211.

Does anyone know where 215, 611 and 614 are? They were in their usual spot three weeks ago when I last passed by Western Ave. Last Wednesday there were some flat cars with what looked like bilevels covered with a tarp in that space.

Where are Ex Go Transit F59s currently running these days or are they out of service for the moment?

They’d been on the MILW lines and presumably still are since it’s only 3 years or so since they joined the roster.

Also saw 413 and 94 coupled on each end. 413 was coupled to 215 and 94 coupled to 614.

Looks like 422 was freshly repainted. The roof is now all black instead of that silver/grey color. I think it looks better.

Safe to say that all of the Winnebagos (F40PHM-3) have basically been rebuilt. The only ones that have not been seen lately are 195, 199, 210, and 213.

Two F59PHI's (76 and i think 83) are on UP, with the former starting to become a regular on UPW. They seem to idle a bit quieter than the screamers...

Since this forum was last updated, units 199 and 210 have returned from Progress Rail. Last to return are 195 and 213.

As of September 24, 2020, Metra F40C #610 (as well as IHB SW1200 2256) have been scrapped at NRE's Dixmoor shops. This is because the scrap dealer in that town will be shutting down soon, and i trying to scrap as much as they can.

Looks like 90 (F59PHI CNW Heritage unit) will be making its inaugural run on the UP-NW at 1000 on October 7 from Olgilvie to Crystal Lake.

It actually should end up running on all three UP lines. As it will lead with CNW and State of Illinois unit for the DMSQ train. First on the Geneva, then Harvard, and finally Kenosha lines. I pulled right next it the train this morning at CPT/OTC. And it followed the M21 west.

It's two crappy pictures because my drone was misbehaving and the sun was in the wrong place for my stationary camera, but the bigger news from today's run is that they also ran a MP36 on the Harvard Sub. That's never happened before as far as I know...

I was under the impression that MPs weren't allowed on the NorthWestern because of weight restrictions, or was that only on the north line.
