To the surprise of nobody...Cuomo made Andy's job impossibly difficult. He threw him under the bus in an interview with CBS New York today.

I actually met him days before his departure, at a reception at the Transit Museum, where he was guest of honor even as the R42 had its last official revenue run - hours before. The reception turned into a AB fan event. Years before I'd met David Gunn, also at an event at the TM. Both were a pleasure to talk to, both with huge knowledge, neither of them full of themselves. Gunn and I talked about a few things, including the Blitz busses, probably his greatest regret from his time at the TA. Both of them learned well from any mistakes they made, always learning anything they could. And both did lots of good.
