Metrorail midnight closing begins June 3, 2016

"Beginning Friday, June 3, the Metrorail system will close at midnight every night to allow for the implementation of SafeTrack, an expanded track work plan to improve Metrorail safety and restore service reliability. The last night with a 3 a.m. closing time will be Saturday, May 28."

Yeah that's not going to be good at all for the Washington metro rail particularly tourists and those out late at night so now they're going to have to seek alternate transportation such as Uber. I hope Metro implements buses to make up for the loss of rail service
