Hello
I'm from Tunisia, and I would build some locomotives of the SNCFT (tunisian railway) in ho scale.

There is two north american locomotives used by sncft :
one from Bombardier :

http://www.locopage.net/snt-dp145.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

the second from GE or MLW :

http://worldofrailways.net/gallery/albu ... _ville.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Some body can help me to found the drawings of theses two locomotives ? I need the maximum informations about the sizes of differnts elements of the locomotives

Or what is the most ho model similar to these two locvomotives, may be it s possible to modifiy an existant ho model, it will be most simple !!!
sorry for my english ;)

From this website, http://www.locopage.net/sncft.htm, it looks to me that the Bombardier locomotive is a MX624S (MXS624) class and the MLW locomotive is a MX620 class.
MLW was the Montreal Locomotive Works, a Canadian subsidiary of the American Locomotive Company (ALCO) from 1904-1964. From 1964-1975 the company was known as MLW-Worthington and was owned by Bombardier from 1975 until its closure in 1985.

A quick review of the internet I found three MLW (ALCO) class locomotives available in HO scale at e-bay; C424 , C628, and 630M classes. FYI, both of your locomotives you wish to model have 6 axles, so that eliminates the 4 axle C424. Therefore, the closest model match would be either a 628 or 630 class.

In my opinion, the C424 class body more closely resembles the MX620 class in appearance, but there is the discrepancy in the number of axles.

Good luck finding something you can modify into your Tunisian livery. Sorry, I didn't find anything resembling the MLW MXS-624 class.
