Background TWIC

Hello

Is a criminal background check with BNSF similar to a TWIC background check? I have my TWIC and was wondering if they were similar. Ive heard many RR companies will do credit checks as well?

I have heard of credit checks, especially in passenger service. They don't want their loot to get used to cover your arrears.
