Two recent developments from the parent company, Pan Am Systems-the Northpoint project in East Cambridge is up for sale, and the airline recently terminated scheduled service between New Haven, CT and Baltimore/Washington airports. The airline is now has four scheduled destinations, Portsmouth, NH, Bedford, MA, Trenton, NJ, and Elmira, NY.

Yes, the guy from Tweed airport in New Haven said he is not surprised Pan Am "took off" (no pun intended), because he took the flight to Bal./DC a few times, and the service was "very, very poor" with frequent delays and empty seats.

They had less than 500 customers on that run in the 4 or 5 months it ran.

So the thing that PAR mgmt does best is run a regional RR? Yikes!

This is the biggest joke ever. How can they seriously portend to be an airline?
Check out the PanAm Holidays link on that page

One can only be thankful that "Pan Am" never got their hands on the NE Corridor.

I can't believe people actually call it PanAm or PAR, lol. It will always be the Big G or the ST. Never call it an airline, ha.

B&M Corp / Cambridge NorthPoint LLC sells NorthPoint project for >$175M to Archon Group of Goldman Sachs.

Even after splitting the proceeds with Cambridge NorthPoint LLC, should be a nice chunk of change to put into the PAR coffers. How will PAR spend the money? Go out and splurge on some more GP40s? 727s or DC3s?

I wonder if ST 101 will get a new name (again)?

And speaking of ST: two of the North Point buildings are named "Sierra" and "Tango" -- the NATO Phonetic Alphabet letters for "S" and "T." Coincidence?
